Spanish is truly a world language, with over 350 million speakers in some 20 different countries in the world.

In addition to the European Spanish mainland and its islands, Spanish is also spoken in México, in the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama.

The language is also spoken in the South American countries of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile and Argentina.

Spanish is also spoken on the islands of Cuba, La República Dominicana and Puerto Rico.
